I came across this video and I thought it was pretty funny. And please be aware that the woman in the video added the captions, so it's not someone making fun of a random artist.

Haha yeah me too. I couldn't look myself in the eye after being so deliberately pretentious.

But it does kind of remind me of instances where the first thing a photographer will make known on their website/blog/whatever is that they're "award-winning." And then you realize the award was 2nd place at the county fair.

If it is, she's a performance artist, so I think the video is tongue-in-cheek, meant to be a spoof of artists' statements. Her video made me laugh, and so did the name of her website, but I like deadpan humor.
