i like it a lot!

is it a hard grad thats causing the dark line in the water?

one thought would be maybe get rid of the little green thing to the left of the log

I love it, great shot, just wondering what'a that black line in the water.

I should mention this a 60 second exposure at high tide with very rough surf. So the white is the rough surf, and the distant darker line is the calmer ocean with less activity.

I've thought about making this a black and white, as the colors don't add much. It was quite the dreary day.

Maybe it was too long of an exposure that created that effect.

Since I was going for this, I don't think it was too long of an exposure. But it's not for everyone.
