I've been sort of a hobbyist for a while and recently decided to upgrade to DSLR. Please tell me what you think.
The first four were taken by my old S2 IS. The last six were taken by my EOS 40D the weekend it arrived in the mail.
1) World of Coke in the foreground. The Westin tower was damaged by a tornado several months ago.
2) World of Coke again. This was taken an hour or so later in better light.
3) Bank of America Plaza. Tallest building in the U.S. outside of New York and Chicago.
4) Another take on Bank of America Plaza.
5) I think this belongs here. The house was built in the 1850's and is currently owned by some friends. It was one of the few places in Atlanta not burned by Sherman.
6) Concord Covered Bridge. This thing was built in the 1850s, burned down in the Civil War, rebuilt in the 1870s, and is still used to this day.
7) Concord Covered Bridge from Nickajack Creek.
8) Ruff's Mill, a historic Civil War landmark in a suburb adjacent to Atlanta.
9) A detail shot of the mill.
10) Sign explaining significance of the mill. These can be found all over Cobb County in suburban Atlanta.
