Really nice. It's a little dark, specially where the subject's supposed to be... but overall it's a nice looking B&W IMO

Pretty cool. I(we) see roots like that all the time...however...not in the context of which you captured it. Pretty cool idea and execution.

I like it!! Great job. I would like to see the same scene with a little less intense sunlight from above the canopy. Seems like a great setting for murky/mysterious lighting.

I really like your concept, but not thrilled with your execution. I would have cropped it to just above that metal basket by the tree, in effect eliminating alot of the trees that take the viewer away from the subject matter; the roots, and make for a much stronger composition.

I disagree with the above....but would try rotating it a couple degrees CCW...and hopefully the full res image is sharper. Great shot

Thanks for all the comments . The main focus wasn't the roots I just thought they looked cool with the basket and then needed a name for the thread . I was out getting picture of the course (think informational not "arty") and thought it was a cool angle of the "green".
