Aurora's

I don't think I ever posted any of these. I actually took them last August. They are my first attempt at photographing aurora's. I was suprised they actually came out. The little white spots are actually stars. Taken in my backyard.

I've been waiting all year to shoot more but every night there has been the posiblity of lights there has been thick clouds.

Yeah I liked the scarey tree effect.

In the lower areas of the sky it was moving pretty slow, but directly overhead you almost couldn't look at it because it was swirling around so fast.

Amazing! A couple weeks back I was up at 3 (Had to let the dog out), and was surprised to look up and saw what I at first thought was fog. Proved to be Northern Lights instead. They weren't half as wonderful as yours as they were white, but I did go and stand out on the driveway for a good 15 min. just watching them. Once again. Amazing images!
