Maybe because I’m on my phone but these don’t look very sharp to me. Maybe it’s the dof. Did you shoot them at 1.4?

There is a very narrow dof (deliberate @ f/1.4) but the berry's nearest the camera, which were the focal point, as far as I can see, are reasonably sharp.

I like the narrow DOF in #1. #2 I would have gone with getting all 3 of the berries in focus.

The berries look sharp to me and great dof. Good job, beautiful pics. You inspired me to get out the nifty fifty, f/1.8. My back says don't do it but that's why god created Advil.

Thanks K. I really didn't get the oof comments. Sure the dof ain't to everyone's taste but it was the point of the exercise (ie get the focus plane sharp and let the dof do the rest), hence I mentioned it in the title.
