the old version allowed me to link to my avatar on my own server (the size didn't matter), but now it has to be 20kb, why? I don't upload it to tpf's server.

help appreciated

Well, there were some avatars that were something like 100k. While it didn't hurt the server bandwidth, it sure does make pages load slowly.

Have you noticed that with phpbb off-site avatars could be massive? As wide as you wanted? vbb doesn't let you get away with that it seems. :mrgrren:

Oh, can we use swf avatars now? Or do you not want that?
