JVC GZ-MS100 Camcorder A Fun Change of Pace (Not a General Recommendation)

Lately I have been using another JVC Camcorder. I have posted about (including images and links to videos) a couple of odd products. The JVC GZ-MS100RU is not that unusual. However, because it is an old product, it has a particular problem. It does not output the usual H.264 or H.265 file types. The file type it saves is called an ".MOD" file. I used DVDvideosoft's free video suite software to process and convert its output to more normal MP4 files. I'll post more about this later. For now, here's a picture of the camcorder itself. It's quite a small camcorder. You might notice it has a "YouTube" sticker on it. It was supposed to be able to upload directly to YouTube. But YouTube might not support this file type anymore. I didn't actually try it. I'll post the results some time later.
