So I really want to sell prints/canvas/gallery wraps and photo collages, over digital files. I'm thinking I will include digital files with min. print order, but for me, prints are priceless!

and this last one just shows the difference between an 8 by 10 and a larger print in relation to the area of choice.

I rather have a big flat screen right above the fireplace LOL JK. What program is that? Pretty sweet.

That is a great technique for selling larger prints.

I can't remember the name of it, but several (rather successful) pro photographers that I've met (heard at seminars) use a program that includes this technique. It also allows you to enter & organize the orders and a bunch of other stuff.

For what it's worth, above a working fireplace is the last place you would want to hang a valuable or cherished framed print, or painting. ;)

Maybe the last place that they want to hang it.
But it's good for you if they come back to you for another copy in a few years.

Or better yet, hopefully they come back to you for updated portraits.
That maternity shot should lead to family portraits, kids etc.

I showed the client with the feet picture and she ordered 3 canvas from me just like the pictures!
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET PROFIT!

Love her site and been thinking about getting something like this. Presentation makes a huge impact hey.

Curious what size did she order and how you price your canvases?

a 20*30 and two 10*20

Right now I am ordering through WHCC. I charged her 125 for the 10*25 and 165 for the 20*30

Raise your prices dude.

Yeah, dude, the prices should have been 5-10 times what you charged. Seriously, not joking.

Also, as you progress, you might want to look into ProSelect. It will let you put images in templates live and show them at actual size if you're projecting.

Yes, that may be the software that I was thinking of earlier.

Well... she is a friend so I let her have "my pricing" but I'm still making almost 150 off of the sale....

How do you know you are making almost $150 off the sale?

Is that $150 over ALL your costs?
