B&W or in color

A month later and I still can’t decide which I prefer. Everyone else seems to like the b&w but there is something about that distant golden glow at the end of the path in the color version that draws me in.

I see what you mean but still prefer the B&W. Have you tried cropping down to make the glow at the end of the trail more central?

They both could probably use a bit cropped off the bottom.

I like both, but the BW does draw my eye.

I think one reason is the white balance on the color version. What if you did some local white balance/dodge adjustments?

Both are indeed good, but I think I slightly prefer the black and white. As always, your mileage may vary.

Black and white with a little crop off the top. With the color my eye travels to the green box with the red stick figure. Maybe clone that out for the color version?
