B&W photos, with colour

Following the advice people gave about creating a black and white colour, with parts coloured, I have experimented a with the below pictures, which are of my son, Toby. I selected the areas which I wanted to keep in colour and desaturated the rest. I think they turned out OK.

Excellent hand colouring! All 3 are fab shots, and the colouring give it an extra 'umph'.

the first and last are my favs, i am not sure about the angle of horizon in the second one... but it does lead into the baby face so I guess it draws attention to subject

I really like these, especially the blue ones. The baby at the beach is my favorite. I think it's one of the best kid shots I've ever seen.
