I think it has potential, just too square and centered for me. Get a better angle on the leaf too.

Agree with Deeky. Tilt the camera lens down on the leaf and shoot it slightly to the side would look nice. Great texture.

For me the DOF if to limited and the part that is in focus is not really detailed enough for a close up. I agree you should change the angle and also try re-lighting it.the top of the leaf if a bit blown out.
