Finally watched it on DVD. A very good and well made movie indeed.

I agree!!!!!
Very slow starting. You really have to have patience and know that it'll start to make sense eventually.
I also watched Half Nelson the same night.
It's a great movie too!!!

Hmm, yeah. Saw it in the cinema about a month ago (still showing in Sao Paulo). There were a lot of people saying that stories were a bit disjointed and weren't necessarily relevant to each other. Regardless, I thought it was engaging and beautifully shot. My favourite part was the walk through Tokyo which looked and sounded like a 90s shoegaze video !

Just bought the soundtrack, which is very good also.
