This image is so sharp! Did you sharpen or is that SOOC?

This is full frame using the very nice Nikkor 18-70 and SB800 flash bounced off ceiling. Thus the light is pretty directional. Since every shot is soft from camera (in raw) I did a little sharpening. Since there was not much in the way of edges to sharpen, I used unsharp mask with a large radius and very small threshold. This has the effect of makes surface texture look 'sharper.'

That may be more than you wanted to know - and you probably knew it already - but I never miss the opportunity to blather on - and my wife shuts me up around here.

Actually, it was very educational... I have much to learn on photographic techniques and jargon :blushing:
