Hi All,
Consistently, tack-sharp focus is a short distance behind most of my subjects - indicating an annoying back-focus suspicion with my Minolta XG-M.
Observation:
A while back I removed the Viewing Screen to clean - put it back correctly (gloss side down) - it sits (10th of a mm) above its little rail. I recently removed it again to check alignment - it sat back in the same position.
I’m sure I’ve used two different lenses with same results.
Any guidance? If I put the screen in backwards I may be able to hack this problem away (get my logic)
I’m aware I may have to do a precise measurement with the film plane indicator and a ruler.
Any thoughts? My eyes aren’t that bad lol.
