Back lighting Sky after a thick snowfall

All day played with my camera... lots of snow shots but the snow was so heavy the visibility was lame trying to get any well focused shots... but the matinee turned out impressive when suddenly the back lighting of the sky shed some light...what do you think... did i do okay after a futile day of boring..lol

Lovely colours in the sky, I like the first quite a bit. The blur jumps out at me though, what's going on there? Almost looks like is was shot with a lensbaby.
