I had dried some chiles and was about to grind them, when I noticed how translucent they were. So I put the cutting board on a square chimney lamp, and snapped some shots. These are a bit more cooked than I normally like, but I think the subject justifies that. Didn't have time to do a lot of set-up, but I think this deserves some investigation.

Yeah, I agree. Definitely play with the concept some more and see what you can do.
