I just got back from Alaska on Tuesday and was hoping for some suggestions, improvements and criticisms anyone could offer. I also have Adobe Photoshop CS2 and would appreciate any cropping, filtering, etc. suggestions (if needed). These pics came from a rafting trip to an Eagle Preserve in Haines, Alaska and were shot with a Panasonic DMC-FZ7. Thanks in advance for any help offered,
John

3. My personal favorite, the Eagle was moving fast and in retrospect the shutter speed should have been higher... Anyway, thats the raw shot.

4. Probably needs cropping

Which do you think is best?

I like 2 and 4. 2 could use a bit of rotation to straighten it up, and 4 is a little dark, but I like the composition of both the best.

Yah, I noticed that...I was in a raft and the eagle was directly above me, so the shot was cast in shadow.

I like 3 & 4. I love birds in flight, esp Eagles.

As for #4, try making it darker and do a silhouette thing with it.

I worked on photo #4 a little and used CS2's Shadow/Highlight Adjustment tool, any better?
