Well, um...a shallow DOF was exactly what I was trying to do. :scratch:

Sorry, off topic, wrong place for this, so send me a PM.. Do you like the sigma 50-500? what model? Looking to get a longer lens and the price on most of the Sigma's seems not to kill you.

I no longer have it...sold it for a Canon 400mm f5.6L. Too hard to use without a tripod.

2) Sigma 50-500 is great, but heavy as hell.

1)I have a monopod but the Bigma was too awkwardly balanced when fully extended for even a monopod to really help that much.
2)I no longer have the Bigma.
3)Yes, it was the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, FL.
