I love the shot but I guess the background has been blackened in post? The reason I think that is because the bird is a little bright for the background - it looks like it's been cut and pasted. I would work with the burn tool and luminance to try to brinf it down a bit so that it "fits" a bit better with that black background.

I think it is nice. It is relatively sharp and I love the closeness. But I would love to see the remainder bottom of the beak.

Good detail on the eye... but it is framed too tightly to really be worthwhile. I am assuming this was a happy accident rather than intentional?

More DOF please. I feel like it is losing too much sharpness in the beak. And there is some CA that should be removed. Other than that, I love the shot. I think the tight cropping makes the shot feel much more intense.

Nice shot, I would have liked it better if the bottom wasn't clipped though.
