Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I heard about an interesting barbershop last week so I went to get my hair cut. I had no idea it was a historic structure and I would really like to get some good pictures.

All I had with me was my cell phone. Could I get some recommendations on how to properly frame this location?

Looks like you got most of the room in this shot, so just as you did is probably fine. I don't know how wide your wide angle goes, so I don't have any recommendation regarding what focal length.

Be sure to take some detail shots while you're there.

Interesting shot, as far as a crop suggestion. To me it improves when you lose the couch and chair in the foreground. Ed

This photo was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S4. I have a Nikon D5200 that I will be using when I go back. I have a Tamron 10-24 lens that I think would be great for this location so I will have quite a bit more flexibility.

I was sitting down when I took the photo so next time I will try it from a higher angle to get rid of the couches in the foreground. Thanks for the advice oldhippy

If they will let you, I'd shoot with the camera even higher that just standing up.

Also I would be sure to nail the exposure, shoot in color as a Raw file, and covert it to B&W post process to have more control of the B&W tonality and contrast in the final B&W photograph.
