Yeah, you kinda confused me there. Thought there must be an American House Martin that looks like a Chaffinch but I see you're in Hull, which may explain it

They are House Sparrows. All males.

Lol thanks for the I’d on the birds. The HI is a short hand reference that I got used to using. I forget that people outside of the office may not know it. I am on Hayling Island.
