bargain d40x???

Here in the uk ive seen a second hand d40x, with 18/55mm lens plus a 55-200 VR lens, few filters, spare battery, charger etc, all boxed and in good condition...its currently £250 thats about $360 dollars. I could probably get it for less than that. As i was considering keeping the VR lens and selling the rest on... does it sound like a bargain?

where did you find it? might be a scam but who knows when it's private party. good price if it's legit but many on here will tell you the D40x is not any better than the D40. The D60, maybe, but the D40x should never have been made.

Don't waste your time or money on this, legit or not. The D40x is not even an upgrade from the D40, it just trades meaningless resolution for poorer noise performance.

If you want the 55-200 VR lens, just buy it new for it's very reasonable retail price with a proper Nikon factory warranty. It's an excellent lens that's fully worth it's retail price.
