I think I actually used a levels adjustment layer. I don't remember exactly what the settings were. I just brought up the midtones a bunch, and then the highlights a bit. I also used a selective color adjustment layer to boost the colors

The colors and textures are great in these!!! I love the edited version of the third, very awesome!!! The sky in 2 is sweet as well!!! I'm feeling jealous as well
