Barred Owl.

Wish these were a little bit sharper but i had not thought that the car exhaust would cause issues. these were the only photo's i could save.

Real nice photos.

I learned how much those things affect photos when we were trying to get the telescope set up. Husband couldn’t figure out why focus kept going in and out. After looking I realized it was because he was focusing out the open window in the winter. All the heat was escaping and making “waves” around the scope.

They look fine sharp on the small screen on my tablet but I'll have a look on a bigger screen on my PC later.

Compositions and exposures all look spot on regardless of the exhaust issues.

Being critical of your own work is how you get better, identifying what you don't like about the shot and figuring out how to change the approach next time. Keep raising the bar.

I am envious, I have yet to see an owl in the wild.

I am lucky with the owls due to having lots of friends in the area that let me know when they find one. Have bad luck overall with finding them myself unless i know there is one at the location.
