Yeah, mind boggling. But I don't think we have to worry about that as we don't build anything like that anymore. I would love to have been involved somehow with the rebuilding of Notre Dame after the tragic fire.

The 24mm shots make the space feel huge. That first wide one really works because the columns and ceiling pull you inward. it has grandeur. Beautiful

What an opportunity that would be.

Unpopular opinion and general food for thought ! Just my idea, but I feel like before the "Enlightenment" people built pointing outwards - reaching for / pointing to God - to show beauty. Nowadays we build inward pointing to ourselves.
