Batis 85...to my surprise...

Was just trying out my new Batis 85 on my a6000. I had read that the 85 has a greater tele effect on that camera compared to the full frame sensor versions and that turns out to be oh so true. More than I'd bargained for. In the relatively small room I use for my portrait shots I had to back against the wall just to be able to get her head and shoulders in. I can see it will be a nice lens for outdoor shots where there's plenty of room but definitely a bit long for confined interior spaces. The 55 would probably have been a better choice. Live and learn.

That must look huge on the a6000.
