nice shot! 
you used something i've been trying to do in my shots too... have a diagnol line cutting through the picture. i haven't been able to pull it off where i like it, but this is an interesting shot, blurry water on the right, stoic boot print on the left... texture of sand...
again nice shot
the small lines going perpendicular to the shoreline are a little distracting though...

hooh...that's neat... very interesting composition and good exposure. Can you post some details as far as exposure is concerned? did you use any filters?

Good composition. I really like the contrasting smooth and rough texture. The foot print is classic and adds strong interest to the frame. Personally I think the specular highlights of the sun kill the frame.
