I can't decide whether to clone the scratches on the platter out or not... I mean, it's not like it would be hard or anything - I'm just not sure if I would like it more that way.

I like them there, because they add some confusion. It took me a while to realize it was water on a plate. Seriously.

It think it's really a neat shot with the pattern of drops getting smaller and smaller. There's depth in this you rarely see in rain on window pictures, and I feel the scratches add to the depth.

Looks pretty good. I think it's an "either way" on cloning out or leaving in the scratches...both ways would/will work.

The larger ones really do seem to jump off the screen. Almost 3D looking.

I vote for cloning. The scratches are a little distracting to me. One can really get lost in this either way, but I think it would be more intense without them.

OK, the more intricate parts are proving more difficult than I thought, lol. I'm on it though. I think I'll darken the blacks a little too.

OK - I only spent a few minutes on it, but I have added the edited version to the first post. What do you think? It's not quite 'done', but any further editing would be best on a higher resolution scan.

Way cool Josh! When I first glanced at it, reminded me of a photo I would see in a biology textbook, microscopic amoebas! I looked again though, interesting water shot!

I like it without the scratches and I also like the deeper black background. This is getting downright dangerous to stare at.
