my mate took us out for a spin in this the other week its such a sickk car. its a 2.8l sport he's put a new engine manifold and exhaust manifold on to it. its loud now! it comes standard with an lsd aswell so you can go slideways all day haha, we got some drifts going in a carpark was well fun. hopefully goin out in it again soon, hes got new rims now and its even lower. im gonna try and get a drift picture too i hope! let us know what you think of the pics anyway, cheers

First one is a superb image; second would have been top class if half shown

i dont mind the layout in both. but the car is a bit too dark for my liking, im losing allot of the detail of the car itself.

yeah the car is a tad dark in both, i reckon thats just bad lighting though?! if i had exposed it anymore the back ground was too bright, i suppose i could have just used a multi exposure?! id prefer to get the lighting right with one exposure though, maybe i should start taking torches out? cheers guys

actually the background is underexposed as well.

hmm yea, i did a few exposures and i didnt really like the background to be honest, it was too yellow, street lamps arnt the best source of light though i suppose. dunno should i use filters or something?

Try custom white balance. Take a notecard with you and throw it on the hood of the car, get kinda close, meter on Program mode for 0 +/- EV and take a picture that fills the frame mostly with the notecard (it has to be in the light you're shooting in with no shadowing). Then go to your custom whitebalance menu, and select that image. Set your camera to custom WB mode and suddenly the camera knows that notecard is supposed to be white, so it compensates and rids the yellow hue from the street lamps. Now compose the shot, focus, meter, and shoot.
