Was the 2nd time I've seen this guy, the 1st time out of the water. Was late in the day, heavy crop as I took this with the 'kit' lens. Like always C&C welcome.

Thanks, they don't seem to mind each other-lol. I have a frame where a coot is sitting on her nest a few meters to the right. The days are getting shorter again, so I will have to hurry to get a few more shots of him this season.

Nice shots were i am i think people have been traping some of the muskrats and beavers beacause there used to be about 10 muskrats we would see each day now theres 2nor3 and about 2 beavers every day but now theres none havent seen them were iam for about 3 to 4 weeks

Thank you, yes the beavers are becoming a bit of a nuisance here, they are a protected species in Germany.

Very nice set! Where is this?

Thank you. This is southern Germany, in our local 'park'. 15 minutes by bicycle from me. 3 meters in front of the beaver there is a fence to a play area for kids, normally quite loud, didn't seem to bother him hough.

I don't get to see too many beavers out of the water during daylight around here. Most of them are soaking wet with matted hair and don't make for the best images.
That guy looks pretty dry with good color!
