Bedham Old Church & School

Is that in England? Love it. Like to see more from over there out in the country!

Great shot! Echoes of the past. When I travel to old places, I always wonder what life and people were like back then. Seeing old buildings, like mysterious witnesses of time, leads to reflections on the past. Can you imagine how the steps of the students sounded in school then, what prayers were heard in the church. And how all this is now swallowed up by the forest, as if nature is trying to forget the story that played out here. But your photograph preserves this moment, makes it eternal. This is such a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the past without even leaving your time. Every old building, every stone is like a book, telling its own story. And by photographing them, you preserve these stories for future generations. I once watched a movie “if people suddenly disappear, what will happen to the earth” in 10 years, a hundred years, a thousand years. Makes you think how we are all temporary.
