Bee Eater Bird (Abelharuco)

Photos were taken in "Ria de Alvor" a small town near Portimão in Algarve - Portugal.

The Bee Eater Bird in portuguese Abelharuco, visits us from March till September.

I took my Digiscoping gear (Praktica 20-60x77) for the first time but had no luck, all photos were really bad.

These ones above were shot with my 55-200 VR.

Beautiful bird! Would have loved to have seen a tighter crop but I totally understand the difficulty of birding and the gear expense.

If im lucky next time they will let me approach a lit bit more (not) . I really have to improve my digiscoping skills.
