Been Awhile

I took a hiatus for awhile, but I hope to be a more regular contributer here now. Been trying to make sense of OCF and I think I am starting to maybe get it.

About the image: Friend needed a head shot, so I was happy to oblige. Sb-700, 30" octa camera left, diffusion panel camera right.

Nicely done and good job on the lighting! What sort of headshot (corporate, portfolio?) Just a thought for future shots: Black on black clothing and a grey background aren't generally the best choice; it tends to give the impression of a floating head.

Thanks tireiron. Corporate. She got a new job at the company she works for and they send out announcements with the photo. I shot some pure white, but she didn't like them as much as the grey, so I just ran with the grey for her.

I appreciate it FITBMX. I do secretly hope something comes of it. Many of the shots that are used are done with just point-n-shoots and bare flash, so I am hoping to cause a little upset
