Been out playing with my new D-SLR with some rather mixed results

Trying to get used to all this light balancing thing & exsposure times. Colours seem to be pretty washed out or too dark in most, so plenty more practice needed! Feel free to comment & play with any pics or whatever you feel - and any advice you can give for my improvement!

Buy Understanding Exposure by Bryan Petersen. You will understand more.

Compositions are not great either. When using any camera to create an image you need to give it thought and know what you want before you take it.

You are trying things out and that's good but understand exposure and you will be able to become more adventurous.

I agree very good book I just read it and had a hard time putting it down.
