Thanks.. try these..
f/8, or 9, set the iso to 200 and the shutter to 1/200 or the sync speed for the camera, it should be 1/200 or 1/250 . set the flash to 1/8 power and adjust accordingly for correct exposure . setting the iso to 200 will eliminate the noise you can see in the images

The diffuser doesn't just soften the light from your flash. But it allows the natural shadows to show through as well. I don't know if I like that. I like diffused light. I'm a big fan.
