Was driving down my street and this guy (roadrunner) was running around in the road chasing bugs. Had to work fast and shoot out of car window ...

Looked for a coyote, but none was to be seen ...

Turned out ok for the fact that you had to be soooo quick!
I only know these kinds of birds from that comic strip - I am not sure I have ever seen a real one (might have on a photo here on TPF years ago, but if so that once was the only time before I'm now seeing these!). The sun is still quite, quite intense where you are, isn't it?
