Belted kingfisher and sunset

I have tried to get a photo of a Belted Kingfisher for a couple years. They are so quick and shy! I was sitting by the lake one morning waiting for something to swim or fly by. I saw a flash, looked up, and there he was! He appeared surprised, but curious as I pointed my lens toward him. He sat there a good 5 minutes and fortunately did not poop! LOL.

The evening ended just as well.
