Hi, took this pic at the weekend with my sony a7 with kit lens,
However as I'm just a beginner I used the cameras (P) mode which is meant to do everything for you, I have used apature priority mode a few times but I'm just not confident enougth and opt out for the cameras auto mode to be safe

c&c watch for the time of the day. In nature photography it's all about the light.
You did good with the leading line, but you could do it better Think about composition a bit more

your equipment is fine. learn all the other elements that make a photograph and a new camera will come when it's time for it.

It's a great place for taking photographing and practicing
