best budget point and shoot

Hi all,

I am becoming increasingly aware that I need a small handy camera with me when I am out and about. I travel in the city on public transport as part of work. Excellent chance to take photos but lugging around my dslr is just not feasible.
So, I would like a quite basic point and shoot camera that can deliver a decent image. If it performs pretty well in low light that would be great too. Can I get something worthwhile for under 150 dollars?

I have only experience with Canon and Sony. For the same money I like more Canon. It has more control options.

Hi jamie - at this price point, I recommend the Samsung WB150. $128 from Amazon US and £130 from Amazon UK. 14x zoom, 18MP and wi-fi for less than $150.

For this little money I would try to find a good used camera, I would look for a Canon G11
