Define "great price" in a numerical term - since as words it really means nothing since it might be £500 to some or £5,000 to others.

Get a DSLR for photos and a dedicated video camera for videos. DSLRs are not the best video cameras in the world.

I would say no more than 2000 is my total budget.

Can I be curious why Canon 50mm when you already have 50mm on that tamron ? (difference in depth of field in case of F1.8 ( 2 cm ) and F2.8 (4 cm ) at 1 meter distance from subject ).
I know the 50mm F1.8 costs peanuts, but is it actually worth spending ?
