Best setting for a neon light disco party

I have a Nikon d3000 and I just want to know if anybody can help me find the best setting for a neon light disco party?

Depends on what your meter tells you when you get there.... I would suggest High ISO, Wide apertures, and dragging the shutter!

The settings needed will also depend on the lens you use and how much light there is at the venue.
You also need to consider the light metering mode used, the focus mode, focus area mode used, and the white balance setting.
The D3000 does not have a white balance setting option for neon, and has 3 options for light metering.

You will likely need to activate the Auto Focus Assist light too.
