I shot this about 20 years ago in Sequoia National Park. In late spring, the rivers and waterfalls in the Sierra are at their peak. I've always liked this shot, the power of the water comes through, and the family in the foreground gives a sense of scale.
And more thundering waters! Sometimes I wish I could get to the mountains more often ... when you live in the plains, like I do, anything that makes water rush and fall is simply beautiful - almost exotic.
