Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm not sure what this one is but I'm leaning toward some sort of warbler. I saw it Saturday morning at Radnor Lake and it appeared to be chasing small bugs (small enough that I couldn't see them, only the bird chasing something). I'm also not sure whether it's primarily brown or dark gray since it looks brown in one photo and gray in the other. Anyone got any ideas?

Looks like probably an Eastern Phoebe to me, Scott.
Could be a Least Flycatcher, though, I have trouble telling them apart--but the Least Flycatcher has, I think, more of a white eye ring and more defined white bars on the wings.

That second shot of it is beautiful!

I looked at the description of a Bushtit earlier. It noted that the bill was heavier / stockier than that of a warbler. If you look at images of the Bushtit the bill appears to be generally shorter and heavier at the base, so I don't think that's what it is. I appreciate the help though.

Yeah, I'm going to go with the Eastern Phoebe to. The description says gray / brown with black bill, feet, and legs and also that it feeds on small insects. That pretty much fits the bill ;)

Thanks for the help!

My vote is for a Junco ,juvi ? the black bill/beak is what is throwing me a bit, but the plumage looks correct .
EDIT:
NOpe -Nevermind not a junco ...........Just typed in phoebe in the search of Birds photographers net and all the photos look just like these
BTW great photos Scott ,love the detail and Head angles /eye contact

Yeah, that sounds like me a little while ago. I had about a dozen tabs open in my web browser comparing photographs. I kept saying, "Yep! There it is! Oh, wait, no it isn't ;("

I'd agree with the Eastern Phoebe, and nice shots of it at that
Agreed. Now I'm going to quit looking since it has been positively identified by several knowledgeable people ;)

Thanks for the help and comments guys.

Couldn't have helped with the ID, but wanted to echo Sharon's feeling about the 2nd shot.

Thanks, Brian. I don't like the big wad of tree-stuff sitting on top of its head and may clone that out. He was bouncing all over the place, from limb to limb and chasing bugs, so getting him still long enough for a shot was kind of tough. I took several and those two were the best of the bunch ;)
