bird in flight

this is my 2nd ever attempt at photographing a bird in flight, so how did I do? thanks!!

Good job.. A raptor in flight is my favored subject. I even set up nesting platforms to get Osprey close enough to film. Things I have learned about flight are use superfast shutter speed. 1/2000 up or its a waist of time trying to freeze those pesky wing tips. I average 5 excellent shots in a hundred. AI servo helps too :thumbup:

Very nice!! I love taking photos like this and you have done it! May I pry and ask what kind of equipment you use? Where do you find birds like this? I'm starting to think I'm living in the wrong place!

I noticed you allow editing and I was a little bored.

I don't know if its my monitor but it looks like maybe it could use some more contrast?
