They usually don't get this close. I waited while he bathed for the shake off routine.

I shot video from across the marsh, but too windy for the audio. I could do a sound track maybe New York New York

He was fairly animated bathing and splashing. Not sure if Swan Lake would work

He is more of a drama king.

It is a tad hot. This was middle afternoon and not ideal light.

that's usually when i end up shooting. just underexpose a little bit, it'll keep your highlights from blowing out.

Nice shooting especially with the 90 as that can be tricky with moving subjects!

He or she looks to be defending something or trying to scare off a predator. Maybe a nest nearby? It’s definitely that time of year.

They were not too close, but when we walked out on the concrete extention two of the birds came close and were bathing. Maybe there was a nest nearby.
