I think this could benefit from a wider crop, and less sharpening in post.
Also, prepare yourself for the inevitable onslaught of guilt trips for daring to aim your lens at someone who is homeless and moderators telling you why you shouldn't post images of homeless people here even though it isn't against the rules of the forum.

Cracking shot mate. I too think the sharpening is a touch overdone on the fabrics but I really like the way you've isolated the subject with the shallow dof and I like the tight crop.
Personally I don't think this falls into the same category as a lot of the homeless shots we see. This one is clearly about a personality.

I agree with Dan, it seems over processed to me and I think I'd like seeing it not quite so cropped.
If it wasn't for the title that wouldn't have occurred to me, it's more a well done portrait of someone who seems to be an interesting person.

She asks to be photographed for (I guess) beer money. She was posing for some others but turned to take a drag off her ciggie, so I took advantage of the moment. I'll as likely get slammed for not giving her money, too. Oh Well.
