Chris, very nice BIF images. I like the first one best. Too bad you couldn't have chased that egret out of the 3rd one . Curious about the location?

thanks for the comments. Interesting about the great white - He came in and sat on the GBH's nest. Got most of the fight imaged and working on more.

Location is middle Texas coast down toward Corpus Christi.

"came in and sat on the GBH's nest" - that is interesting. In my three years of shooting birds in Florida, I don't think I have ever seen that happen. I will bet the fight was something to see. I have seen the female GBHs get upset and aggressive when the egrets get too close, but sitting on the nest...hope you post a few images.

As far as the location, is there a National Wildlife Reserve there that one could visit. Always looking for new places to go to escape a few weeks of our late winter up here :thumbup: .
