Three Rivers Avian Center is a West Virginia organization which specializes in the rehabilitation and release of injured birds. They co-sponsored a photography workshop which I attended today and I got an opportunity to shoot some of these birds.

This is Regis, a juvenile bald eagle rescued by Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC). He suffered from a damaged wing and is currently being rehabilitated.

This is Thomas, a gray-phase screech owl rescued by Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC).

This is Perry, a peregrine falcon rescued by Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC). He suffered from a damaged wing and is currently being rehabilitated for re-release.

This is Twister, a barn owl who is unable to survive in the wild. He is under the care of Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC).

Nice pictures. Raptors are always my favorites. I had a barn owl once, fun birds, not very smart, but loads of personality. Thanks for sharing these.
