Black-Capped chickadee.

I like taking photos of these guys but they are such a PITA. Never want to sit still. They will follow you around and once you turn the camera on them off they go. One day when I had my 300mm and trying an extreme close up, every time I pointed the camera the little guy would fly and land in my lens hood.

Nice shot.

I have not actually seen this in real life yet but have herd they will land on your camera and even eat out of your hand. I held a bunch of sunflowers seeds in my hand, they landed on everything but my hand.LOL

Takes patience but once they start you can always get them to feed from your hand. What I mentioned in my post was in a trail area where I believe a lot of people feed them from there hands. All you have to do is start walking down the path and your surrounded by a bunch of them that will follow you around. But somehow they always know when you have the camera pointed at them. I think they do it on purpose.

If you have some in your area put out a feeder in your backyard. They will get used to you hanging around and have no problem with you being within feet of the feeder.

Nice shot. There very inquisitive little birds.
